Abstract

The text described below was orally presented by its author last March in a conference held in The Open Classroom of the "Universidad Europea de Madrid".
It looks at a reflection and debate on the relationship between nursing knowledge and professional definition (how we see ourselves or how we are seen by others) and what we are or know.
Throughout the presentation matters having to do with development and transmission of that knowledge were exposed, from the perspective of current university teaching and the point of view of important authors.
