Abstract

Society has been changing the way it perceives death since ancient times to this day. At the present time, death is surrounded by a sort of “tabu”. This negation to death makes it impossible for death to be treated with the naturality it deserves, especially in the paediatric population. Because of this, we have thought it appropriate to confirm through a series of surveys the lack of information that children lack in that respect.
After analysing the results obtained, we propose an intervention program so that children understand death as a natural process that is universal and irreversible.
