Abstract

The use of flexible and fluid methods of teaching must be a constant element in the teaching learning process. Experiential and significant learning is based on the experiences of the actual individual and presents itself as one of the key elements of such process. Furthermore, the fantasy that we have all felt as children when children’s stories were read to us, makes of this learning method a very useful tool to accomplish some of the objectives included as part of pediatric nursing.
