Abstract

To work on the subject of death with young people, such as nursing students, is a rather difficult task to undertake. Because of this, in the subject of Palliative care taught at the European University of Madrid, the learning methodology is implemented on activities such as videotapes, documentaries, movies and group discussion. In this manner, we motivate student participation and make the classes more interactive. One of the most important objectives is a reflective practice on the subjects discussed in class.
The article here depicted is the work of a second year nursing student at completion of the subject that served as a reflection and living experience to enrich the other members of the group.
