Abstract
This article reproduces the conference presented at the 18th Seminar on Nursing Supervision held on the 19th of April 2007 and entered into the Minute Log Book of the Congress. The information here reproduced attempts to provide some ideas on the generation of nursing knowledge and its management in nursing divisions as intelligent organisations in the context of a new society of knowledge (3rd millennium). This knowledge forms part of a new paradigm for nursing management called “humanistic paradigm” whose action core is the performance of individuals and professionals, knowledge and work.
As the basis for this intervention, I made use of two articles of the author (in print) appearing at the no. 2 2007 issue of the Tesela magazine. From this approach, I invite all readers to make some a reflection on currently available continuing education services and the need for assuming the management of nursing knowledge an initial strategy.
