Abstract

The work presented herein describes the results yielded by the Paediatric Dental Care Programme undertaken by the Basque Health System since 1990, the objective of which is to monitor children’s dental health.
Dental decay, commonly known as cavities, is an important health problem requiring the implementation of preventive action since early in life.
