Abstract

As part of the review that the subject Fundamentals of Nursing dedicates to the different theoretical models as guidelines to orientate practice and research in Nursing, the Virginia Henderson model has attracted my attention because of its creative potentiality. After the inclusion into the model of a series of new but implicit concepts, we will be able to see its full Copernican potentiality. Virginia Henderson will allow us to avoid models of mechanicist simplicity towards other complexity models, where the fit is perfect: its most characteristics asset, care.
