Abstract

The field of study and research in the nursing discipline, as a human science, will be constructed from lived situations, shared experiences through the narration of different people, who constitute the main characters in studies and research projects, with the intersubjective meanings that each one of them grants according to their own experiences concerning the illness process, suffering, pain or imminent death.

How do we integrate these life narrations, real-life stories of complex situations, not subjected to predictive rules, disorganized, vague, surrounded by the uncertainties that arise from life-death events, in categorical languages, classified, predictive and determinist? Is that possible?

Keywords:

narrative; complex thinking; care process; NANDA; NICNOC
