Abstract

Buerger’s disease is an occlusive, immflamatory vascular disease that affects medium and small calibre arteries.  In this article we aim to analyze how a person and his/her family perceives the care received during multiple hospital admissions through a descriptive study of a real case.  Intense pain has been constant during acute episodes.
Family, social and work-related repercussions have been the most important, family especially. The emotional support provided by family and healthcare professionals has been fundamental.
