dignidad; vida; muerte derechos

Title:

The dignity of life and the dignity of death

Abstract:

I want to make it clear from the very beginning how I am going to address my presentation. I will refer first to the concept of dignity: what it is and what, in my opinion, it is not dignity and will then go on to analyse the somewhat misunderstood term of “dignity of life and death.

I want the reader to know beforehand that the conjunction “and” does not separate two different worlds. On the contrary, dignity in death is embedded in the same idea as dignity in life. Having said that, I will now proceed to describe the first part where we will be discussing what dignity should be understood as.
