Resumen
Todos los estudios recientes vienen a confirmar que las patologías sufridas por hombres y mujeres no sólo no son las mismas, sino que además el proceso de enfermar es distinto y también lo es la forma en que ambos perciben la enfermedad. Ésta sería una visión de la patología estrictamente en función del sexo (biologicismo).
Nuestro trabajo intentará introducir la perspectiva del género, dado que acepta otros puntos de vista además del biológico (propio de un sistema sanitario medicalizado, actualmente el contexto sociosanitario que vivimos). Vamos, pues, a introducir la suposición de que el género masculino o femenino condiciona la morbilidad de los individuos y la forma de percibir la salud-morbilidad.
Nuestro interés radica en la búsqueda de información al respecto, exponerla y analizarla para intentar confirmar la hipótesis inicial.

Recent studies all confirm that pathological conditions are not only different from men to women but also the process of getting sick is different from one gender to the other and so is the way in which men and women perceive their disease. This vision of the pathology would be based entirely based on the gender (biologicism).
This paper will attempt to introduce the perspective of gender, as it accepts other point of view apart from the biological point of view (inherent to a medicalised healthcare system, which is currently part of the socio-sanitary context, that we live in). Let´s then assume that that the male or female gender conditions morbidity in individuals and the way in which these individuals perceive their health and morbidity. Our interest lies with the search of related information, so that it can be presented and analysed to attempt to confirm the initial hypothesis.
