Abstract

The evolution of a normal cell to a malign cell needs some factors: cofactors orcarcinogen factor, these can be inmunitary, traumatic or inflamatory, chemical,physical or casued by radiation, adquired or infectious, more of the infectious causesof cancer are caused by virus: hepatitis B and C viruses, Epstein Barr virus, humanherpesvirus 6 and 8, papovaviruses, adenoviruses, HTLV-I and recently identifiedHMTV.

In this review we explain the important role that some virus are playing incarcinogenesis, describing all of these with references to the new advances in viraloncology.
