Abstract
This paper tries to analyse the activities carried out by the supervisorsof nurses, through the assessment of the current situation and theidentification of the roles´ structure and their functions.
A descriptive study was done, using a self-exam based on the Minzberg´s Theory and analysing those aspects that helped groupingactivities into each different role.
The roles related with the decision making were the most timeconsumers, followed by the informative roles. The interpersonal roles were the least time consumers.
