Abstract

In the present article we describe an educational experience carried out with students who are studyng Medical-Surgical Nursing I, with thegoal of increasing their analytic capacity and teamwork, as well as guiding them in self-learning through a subject that is as important as “surgical patient assessment”.

The experience was very well evaluated by the students, higlightingmainly the fact that it had aided them to develop their capacity to lookback clearly and therefore their ability to think critically.
