Abstract

The work that is presented in this article consists of abibliografhical revision of maternity in women with completespinal cord injury. Todays lifestyle makes this condition moreand more frequent in young women to whom their sexualand reproductive life has a great depending on the level ofimportance the injury. It is possible to achieve a vaginaldelivery without complications and a recovery as satisfactoryas any other women. Some basic recommendations for theappropiate care of these women are showed, both from theperspective of patients selfcare as well as from the careprovided by nurses and midwifes.
