Abstract
The hospitalisation process generates in the child as well as in the minor’s family emotions and conduct patterns that are more often than not the result of maladjustment to the situation. The nurse must be able to detect these changes in behaviour and help both the hospitalised child and his/her family during the hospitalisation period. This article depicts a standardised nursing care plan for the situation described.
