Abstract

The Sjögren Syndrome is a progressive and chronic process, which requires continuous professional attention, and follows up both from the nursing staff and doctors in order to achieve a better quality of life for the patient.

Nowadays, the number of diagnosed Sjögren Syndrome patient is increasing considerably, tense we would like to explain to nursing staff the precise characteristics of the illness and the attention to be given to a patient suffering from an illness whose symptoms have no known cure. In the following article we shall explain this issue briefly, emphasising the special attention that nursing staff should give the patient.
