Abstract
The aim of this paper was to ascertain the present situation (knowledge, use, implementation) of Nursing Diagnosis through the opinion of nurses working in Primary Health Care in Palencia.
The results showed that Nursing Diagnoses are used by 12.37% of nurses. Practically 50% acquired the training about Nursing Diagnosis in postgraduate courses and 73.19% would get involved in their implementation.
We propose that from the Head Nurse Office, priority is given to suitable training and implementation of Nursing Diagnosis, maintaining a hand-in-hand relationship with the University, encouraging the learning of the Nursing Attention Process or Methodology as a tool to move forward in Nursing Science.
