Abstract
Currently the Spanish nursing curriculum offers very limited training in palliative care, with a specific lack in how to handle the dwelling process. We, nursing professionals, due to the characteristics of the tasks we perform, are a vulnerable group, prone to experience different scenarios of loss that can trigger the feeling of dwelling. This makes personal as well as professional awareness essential when faced with dwelling if our aim is to continue to offer QUALITY OF CARE. To this purpose we have decided to submit this paper which presents some conclusions on the use of the MAR process (Movimiento de Agradecido Recuerdo) or its equivalent in English "Movement of Grateful Remembrance" as a tool to handle dwelling effectively.
