Abstract
It has been shown that in order to improve the quality of the healthcare attention given, it is necessary for the actions taken to be performed on the basis of solid and scientifically proven knowledge that enable guaranteed excellence in the healthcare system. As far as nursing research is concerned, recent studies make reference to the shortage of full-time or part-time nurses dedicated to research. This represents an important loss of human resources in research as there are a number of nursing professionals getting their training or already trained to work in research doing trials, who can bring their experience on nursing care to integrate into the practice.
The objective of this study is to describe an organization proposal that fosters nursing research in the Community of Madrid, given that the current legislative framework allows the existence of a different organization, both at national and state level.
