Abstract
The Agencies of Healthcare Technologies Evaluation (HTE) are organizations with the function of evaluating in terms of efficacy, efficiency and safety the value of healthcare technologies, setting the results forth in a report that provides objective information in the decision-making process of administrators and healthcare professionals. The objective of this work is to compile, discuss and provide the nursing professional with a series of web sites relating to the evaluation of healthcare technologies. Those sites relating to HTE at national level and the most important international sites are described and discussed in detail. The general characteristics of some specialized databases on HTE subjects are also described.
