This makes it necessary for older people to look after their bodies through engaging in activities that enable them to maintain and to be in top physical condition. Preserving their health will enable them to continue being independent for activities of daily life, which will contribute to a better quality of life. The work herein depicted has been carried out by a group of first-year nursing students enrolled in the subject “Physical Activity and Health Promotion”, under the guidance of the teacher in charge of the course. It is part of the assessment of the referred subject and was presented and defended in public at completion of the course.
