Abstract

Objective: to learn about and analyze pregnancy in adolescence.
Material and method: bibliographic review of important scientific databases.
Results: pregnancy during adolescence is a specific problem arising from several causes, among them, biological, family or environmental factors.
Conclusions: current preventive strategies are failing, which makes a new approach mandatory.
