Abstract
The standardization and design of care plans is an improvement in the quality of care provided because it unites care around a common language and planning criteria that results in a better organization of care, with positive results for patients. This care plan is based on the model of Virginia Henderson and to develop it further, the NANDA taxonomies to identify Nursing Diagnoses, NOC for evaluating the results of actions, and NIC for sorting interventions, have been used. The aim of this study was to develop a care plan for a health problem, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that is relatively frequent and is experiencing an increase in its incidence. The result of this work has been the designing of a plan around 5 nursing diagnoses common to this health problem, their performance criteria and interventions with their activities.
