Abstract

Understanding the context of death in the elderly is complicated. There are social, economic, personal, and other variables which influence it. We performed a descriptive study of 25 senior citizens to discuss their perception of death, their main fears and the support they believe will be needed to address this process of life and thus focus accordingly the nursing actions.
