Abstract
This article presents the history of health care in the town of Villanubla, located in Valladolid.
It has been written in the context of the subject “Fundamentals of Nursing” (part of the assessment).
The investigation begins in the nineteenth century with the arrival of an epidemic of cholera in the year 1834. Moving forward in history, we find ourselves in the twentieth century, when major changes in the concept of health-disease took place, whose development led to the arrival of major improvements in the health system.
