Contact email: desc@ono.com Abstract Often in our practice we attend patients who say, “I have a tick”.Lots of them try to extract it with household remedies, and in many of the cases when we are asked to treat them, the tick is already dead, squashed, and sometimes, if we are lucky, alive. In our health center, C.S. Virgen de la Oliva in Vejer de la Frontera, we decided to undertake a study on ways to remove ticks that fellow nurses use in the center. We also choose the summer season, which is the busiest time for this type of treatment. Keywords: extraction; human; techniquetick Versión en Español Título: Garrapatas: cómo extraerlas
