Abstract

This document is a literature review on burnout, to analyze the current problems that nurses suffer in present times, which they have existed for years ago and continue to grow exponentially. The nursing profession, like other professions which are dedicated to looking after the interests or needs of the user, involves working in direct contact with the people to which the work is targeted, are the professions which, according to the analized Studies, are more susceptible to this syndrome.
Indeed, the nurses are subject to multiple stressors, both of an organizational nature, as belonging to the task to be undertaken. For these reasons the burnout syndrome has a relatively high incidence in this profession.
