Resumen
La creciente llegada de personas de diferentes culturas supone para los cuidadores un reto importante. Se requiere de nosotros la atención a nuevas demandas en contextos más complejos, por lo que es preciso enriquecer la práctica cuidadora mediante un enfoque holístico. Para este fin se hace necesaria la profundización en la formación transcultural de los futuros profesionales. El presente artículo trata de captar la percepción de los estudiantes en ciencias de la salud sobre el fenómeno migratorio, mediante la descripción y análisis de 24 carteles. Una mirada atenta a los significados profundos de las diferentes imágenes indica que más allá de los bienintencionados propósitos de los estudiantes, se manifiesta la existencia de los tópicos y estereotipos característicos de la imagen que sobre la inmigración tiene la población española en general.

Abstract:
The increasing arrival of people from different cultures poses a significant challenge to caretakers. We are required to go to great lengths to fulfil what is required of us and to provide care in increasing complex scenarios. This makes it necessary to enrich the practice of care using a holistic approach. It, hence, we are compelled to go deeper into the cross-cultural training of future caretakers. The aim of this article is to attempt to capture the perception that health science students have regarding the immigration phenomenon by describing and analysing 24 posters. A tentative look at the deep significance of the different images shows the existence of topics and stereotypes that characteristic to the image that the general Spanish population has on immigration, and which lies beyond the well intentioned purposes of the students.
