It is characterized by the presence of genital warts mostly in the perianal area, though not exclusively, which can alter different aspects of the quality of life of those persons affected. For this reason, it is considered relevant to analyse the disease from a biopsychosocial perspective, including lifestyle and changes faced, through an assessment of the level of discomfort caused by the clinical signs experienced, and the main aspects of life affected by these. Objective: to analyse the quality of life of persons with uterus who were diagnosed with low risk HPV within the last three years in the Valparaíso Region (Chile). Materials and methods: a descriptive cross-sectional quantitative study. A survey with 21 dichotomous closed questions was applied to persons with uterus diagnosed with HPV, who had presented condyloma during the period of the last three years, with ages between 18 and 40 years, Chilean nationality, and residence in the Valparaíso Region. Results: a great proportion of asymptomatic women with presence of genital warts was observed, as well as a high validity of Papanicolaou (PAP) tests and efficacy in treatments, a high proportion in care within the private system, and also a low quality of life at the time of diagnosis, but with improvement after receiving treatment. Conclusion: the most determining factors at the time of treatment were its efficacy, knowledge about the condition and its risks, and awareness of the importance of monitoring and the PAP / smear test.
