Abstract
For presentation purposes, the work was divided into two parts (two articles). I decided to split the work into two because I felt I ought to reflect not only the results but also the entire process that allowed me to obtain such results. Results from which we learn and which constitute the actual learning process.
In part I (last article), I focused on the interest of the academic staff to know what is on the minds of newly graduate nurses before they join the nursing practice as professionals. In part I, I also developed the theoretical framework for the analysis and description/use of the selected methodological instrument: focus group. I concluded the first part with the development of rigorous criteria for qualitative research..
In the article here depicted (Part II), I present the field work, results, discussion and the process followed.
