Abstract

An educational intervention study was carried out to modify the level of knowledge regarding methods training and management styles in nursing personnel in the municipality of Gibara, during the period of time from March to June 2006. The initial group was composed of 200 nurses (both genders) who worked in the said borough in the area of Gibara, of which 150 was selected, amounting to a 75%. A 13-item test was administered to the respondents on the topics included in the intervention of the intervention to measure their level of knowledge on method training and management style in nursing personnel before and alter the intervention. It was concluded that the educational programme that we offered increased the level of knowledge of the nursing personnel on leadership and methods and styles of management.
