This article has been written as a result of the communication presented at the II Worshop of Nursing Educators on European Convergence: “Educators as a manager of change in academic teaching”, which took place Donostia, on 13th of December 2007. It is intended to be used as an instrument to make the readers reflect and question themselves on the complexity and uncertainty generated by the assessments of competencies in the nursing educator community. From our experience, the article proposes a dialogue for its operativisation.
