Abstract

A reflexive diary is a personal report or document that aims to provide the course’s professor with information on the evolution of the student in clinical practice sessions, assessing learning and achievement of objectives. The diary’s core idea is to write to learn. The diary can contain observations, feelings, reactions, interpretations, reflections, thoughts, hypotheses and explanations, becoming an instrument for self-training, evaluation and innovation.
The following reflexive diary narrates the experiences, emotions and visions of a Chilean exchange student in Spain. The expression method used herein has been used as a method to establish a comparative description between the working method of two different realities in the field of nursing.
