Abstract

In Primary Health Care (PHC), care quality has become a constant when talking about health and health care. The knowledge that users have of the health system and its professionals directly affects the quality of services rendered.
The objective of this work is to discover the knowledge that users of Manuel Merino Health Centre, in Alcala de Henares, have on nursing professionals and the various services they provide. For this, a cross-sectional study through a survey that focused its questions on the services of Health Promotion and Disease Prevention was performed.
The results show differences in the identification of professionals and the services they provide. We collected optimal data to identify the services provided by the nurse.
Information campaigns about who are the professionals and what services provide would be very beneficial for proper use of the resources of the National Health System (NHS) by users.
