Abstract
Objective: to identify the needs of terminal aids patients, determine what are their greatest worries and investigate the factors that contribute to their well-being.
Material and method: a transversal descriptive study is performed. Data collection was performed using a questionnaire for patients with aids in an advanced or terminal phase filled in during a guided interview. The questionnaire was based on the one created by R. Bayes.
Results: the population studied had an average age of 34,8, and most were men whose needs and worries were derived from their social problems such as the isolation, contrary to what happens with other patients in a terminal situation.
