Abstract
To determine the healthcare activity of the nurse in charge of Home Care in the field of Primary Care, and the cost of the latter, presently comprise a priority for healthcare management. Goal: to identify the nursing diagnoses that can appear in Home Care. Methodology: development of a nominal group as a consensus technique. NANDA´s taxonomy II of Nursing diagnoses is used. The selected diagnoses are classified according to Gordon’s Functional Patterns and are used as guidelines for Home Care nurses. The frequencies of the number of diagnoses performed in practice are calculated. Results: a selection of 83 nursing diagnoses was obtained. In the check-up of 680 patients included in the Home Care protocol, all the diagnoses selected by the group were identified by the nurses at least once.
