Abstract
represents an obstacle in their psychosocial development. Midwives should be aware, in addition to the physical aspects involved, that teenage pregnancy is considered of risk and support and advice to these women will help reduce complications of their psychosocial development, proper establishment of mother-child bond and therefore, a favorable future development of the mother-child relationship. The aim of this paper is to attempt to illustrate the emotions of teenage mothers, how their pregnancy affects their self-esteem and school and job development as well as the personal journey that each one makes to psycho-affectionate maturity.
