Abstract

Taking the development of different health-related disciplines as the starting point, the conditions for true interdisciplinarity are analysed. Such interdisciplinarity to exist requires full autonomy and development of each of the disciplines as a prerequisite so that, through a translating language, mental health teams become aware each and one of the aspects of the common subject of the study, making the mutual understanding and collaboration of both types of knowledge, possible.
