Abstract

Nursing as a science has a broad body of knowledge and its own theories that are applied in practice through its scientific method, the process of nursing care. The implementation of such a process requires the development of interpersonal, technical, and intellectual skills. For this, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making have a relevant role. According to the literature, the use of problem-based learning and concept maps as strategies for teaching-learning of the nursing care process, could enhance the development of skills for its application.
