Abstract
Managing a School Nurse’s office has certain peculiarities compared to other health services, as it is located within a rather unusual physical context and organizational context: schools and education centers.
The work of the school nurse is undertaken in collaboration with professionals unrelated to the health field, using different documentation to that of a clinical setting.
This article, which focuses on informing of what a school nurse’s office consists of, its operation and the relationship that the nurse establishes at school, is the second in a series of nine covering various topics to raise awareness of this emerging profile in the field of education.
