Abstract
The role of the school nurse is to educate the school community to know the risks of possible accidents, how to prevent them and how to act properly in such cases and also if complications occur in children with chronic disease.
This article focused on informing about the most commonly school emergencies occurring frequently in the education setting and other consultations that occur in a Consultation School Nurse´s Office. This is the fourth article of a series of nine that addresses various issues to raise the emerging profile of nurses in education.
