Abstract
Nurses must have the necessary knowledge to encourage healthy behaviours, as well as to adapt that information for children according to their ages, the educational stage they are in, or their physical or psychological limitations. Health Education must be incorporated in a sequential and progressive manner into the basic education teaching plan, instead of being reduced to a series of occasional activities, sometimes out of context.
In this article, the last in a series of nine in which different subjects have been addressed in order to make public the emerging role of nurses in the school setting, we intend to show the type of programs and activities associated with Health Education which can be conducted at school, and how to prepare them.
